Trimata Coal Perkasa (TCP) was initially established in 1994. It obtained an exploration permit (IUP) in 2009 and an operation permit (IUP) in 2013 in response to the growing demand for coal in developing countries. TCP holds a mining concession in Sumatra with mineable reserves exceeding 693,701,312 tonnes (JORC), with GAR 2,600 – 2,800 as its primary product. TCP is supported by affiliated companies to ensure smooth coal delivery to its customers.
With a production target of 15,000,000 MT per year, PT Trimata Coal Perkasa aims to continuously increase production and loading capacity year by year to support the 2.5 GW power plant of the aluminum smelter producing 2,000,000 MT per year.
PT. Trimata Coal Perkasa has over 693,701,312 MT of mineable reserves and aims to be able to completely mine 100% of its reserves in roughly than 30 years.
